Over the course of March 27th and 28th, 2024, the Youth Union of Noi Bai International Airport collaborated with the District Youth Union to organize a conference on aviation safety culture and provide professional skills training for key Youth Union officials.

The program was attended by leadership representatives from various units in the Noi Bai area, representatives from Youth Unions of units such as ACV in Noi Bai (NIA, HGS, NAFSC); Youth Union Council of Vietnam Airlines Corporation in Noi Bai area; Noi Bai Border Police; Noi Bai Police Station, Air Security Department; Northern Airports Authority, Northern Air Traffic Management Company.

Representing the leadership of Noi Bai International Airport, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan - Deputy Director of the Airport, attended the conference.

The aviation safety culture conference is an opportunity for units operating at the Airport to learn, share experiences, and enhance cooperation in coordinating efforts to ensure aviation safety.

At the conference, delegates listened to 2 presentations on the aviation safety theme, specifically: Presentation on the digital safety-safety culture by the Head of the Quality Safety Department - Secretary of the Safety Committee of Vietnam Airlines Corporation; Presentation on the coordination of aviation safety by the Deputy Head of the Quality Control Safety Department - Noi Bai International Airport.

Also at the conference, representatives from Noi Bai International Airport and several units operating at the Airport discussed the following topics together: Aviation safety culture; Analysis of common violations and main causes of aviation incidents and accidents; Effective communication on encouraging employees to voluntarily report safety issues and building a safety culture in the workplace; Proposing specific solutions to collectively reduce Foreign Object Debris (FOD) at the Airport; Coordination between the Airport and units operating at the Airport in ensuring aviation safety.

In the conference program, the Youth Union Council of Noi Bai area consolidated the contents of collaboration work and jointly signed a commitment document to collaborate in building the program "Training in professional skills for key youth union officials in the Noi Bai area" to equip skills and expertise for Youth Union members in the new period; arranging youth volunteers to participate in peak operational programs, major events taking place in the Noi Bai area, and annual regular activities on July 27 to organize the "Gratitude Candle Lighting" program in Soc Son District. And most importantly, signing a commitment on propaganda and competition content to enhance the awareness of Youth Union members about "aviation safety culture" in the Noi Bai area.

The conference was organized on the occasion of Youth Month 2024. This is a great opportunity for units operating at the Airport to learn from each other, exchange experiences, and contribute to enhancing cooperation and coordination among units in the "Common House" at Noi Bai.

As part of the program, delegates will have a training session on Youth Union work skills and participate in team-building activities at the Cerf Volant Ecotourism Area in Minh Phu commune, Soc Son district, Hanoi city.
