A forgotten wallet on a luggage trolley promptly assisted by Nội Bài security personnel.

A passenger named V.M.T flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on the evening of April 21. When loading luggage onto the trolley, he placed his wallet on the tray and stacked another bag on top of it. Afterwards, he picked up the bag and inadvertently left the wallet on the trolley.

"On the way back to Hanoi from the airport, I suddenly received a phone call from a Mobile Security Officer at Nội Bài, who reported that they had found a wallet with this phone number on it... When I immediately checked, I was startled to realize that it was my forgotten wallet. I turned back to the airport," recounted Mr. V.M.T, expressing his gratitude to the airport security personnel.

"I have a friend who also left his phone on a trolley in a public area, similar to my case, but he couldn't retrieve it. I feel lucky to have the security officer discover it in time and keep it safe for me," Mr. T continued excitedly.

The forgotten wallet belonging to Mr. V.M.T contained 50 million Vietnamese dong, 01 ID card, and 01 Visa card. Importantly, the wallet had the owner's phone number written on it. This detail enabled the airport security personnel to quickly contact and return it.

The person who promptly discovered and returned the wallet is Mr. Hoang Minh Hai, a staff member of the Mobile Security Team at Nội Bài Airport Security Center. During the evening shift on the same day, he found the forgotten wallet on the trolley, near Traffic Area 3, adjacent to the T1 Passenger Terminal Car Park. He quickly checked the contents, brought it to his team, and contacted the owner to return it. Mr. Hai shared that he and his colleagues have been commended several times by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam for their exceptional assistance in helping passengers retrieve valuable belongings. "It is our duty and responsibility," he happily shared.

On the same day, another security camera supervisor successfully assisted a passenger who had forgotten their wallet in a public area...

With only one week left until the peak holiday season, we sincerely request all passengers to be cautious and thoroughly check their personal belongings before leaving the airport. Not all cases of forgotten luggage can be promptly detected and kept safe by airport staff.
