On the morning of February 11, a female passenger was fortunate to receive assistance from two security officers at Nội Bài International Airport, who helped her recover a wallet she had forgotten, containing important personal belongings.

At exactly 11:20 AM on February 11, while on duty maintaining public order at the departure hall of Terminal 2, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Dũng – a member of the International Terminal Security Team – was approached by a distressed male passenger. The man reported that a family member had accidentally left behind a wallet on a luggage trolley, which contained a phone, money, and important documents for their flight from Hanoi to Germany.

Mr. Dũng immediately used his radio to notify his team members for assistance in searching the luggage trolleys and also alerted the security surveillance camera unit. While waiting for information from the camera team, Mr. Dũng, along with his colleague Mr. Trần Xuân Đại, actively searched the surrounding areas. Suddenly, Mr. Dũng spotted a long black wallet on a trolley at the designated trolley collection area near Door D2 in the public area. He quickly informed the camera surveillance team for confirmation.

After verifying that this was indeed the lost item, Mr. Dũng promptly pushed the entire trolley, including the forgotten wallet, back to the passenger.

The female passenger was overjoyed upon receiving her wallet. She continuously thanked Mr. Dũng and Mr. Đại before rushing to complete her check-in procedures for her flight to Germany. Meanwhile, her family member quickly wrote a heartfelt message of appreciation on Facebook, which was widely shared:
"Within 20 minutes, he returned the wallet with all documents and the phone, allowing us to proceed with the check-in process. Once again, I would like everyone to share our gratitude to Officer Nguyễn Xuân Dũng and his colleague. Thank you!"

“I am happy for the passenger, as she was able to retrieve her lost belongings in time for her flight,” said Mr. Dũng, humbly adding that this was simply the responsibility of every employee at Nội Bài International Airport.
