On the morning of October 9, 2026, the Trade Union of Noi Bai International Airport held a groundbreaking ceremony for a landscaping and tree-planting project at the Terminal T2 passenger area. This is a practical activity celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and looking ahead to the 50th anniversary of the airport’s founding.

The project is being carried out on the strip of land at the P8 car park. The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of the airport’s leadership, the Trade Union Executive Committee, the Youth Union, and many officials and union members from affiliated units.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Trinh Thi Lien Huong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Noi Bai International Airport, emphasized: “Although the project is not large in scale, it carries practical significance. It is a concrete contribution by the Trade Union and the Youth Union toward improving the landscape, protecting the environment, and working to build a green, modern, friendly, and sustainably developing Noi Bai International Airport.”

At the groundbreaking ceremony, carefully selected plants such as white-flowered Chinese lantern bushes (bạch thiên hương), laurel, cordyline (huyết dụ), and peonies were planted directly by officials and employees, arranged in an interlaced pattern to give the landscape depth. The implementation was closely coordinated and supervised by the Noi Bai Terminal Operations Center to ensure technical quality and timely progress.
Beyond improving the landscape of the Terminal T2 passenger area, the project also carries the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and love for Noi Bai from every official, union member, and worker. Each tree planted today is a practical contribution to building a green and beautiful appearance for the airport on its journey toward its 50th founding anniversary.
Plant a green seed, nurture more love for Noi Bai! From today’s practical actions, the spirit of solidarity and responsibility continues to spread, helping make Noi Bai International Airport ever greener, cleaner, more beautiful, friendly, and civilized.
