Ahead of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), on July 23, Noi Bai International Airport solemnly organized a gratitude meeting and a pilgrimage journey to the roots at the K9 Da Chong Historical Relic Site.

Implementing the plan of the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to spread meaningful movements honoring War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Noi Bai International Airport always identifies the work of repaying gratitude and caring for the lives of policy-beneficiary families as one of its key tasks in building a corporate culture rich in humanity.

Currently, Noi Bai International Airport is the workplace of 23 officials and employees who are relatives of fallen martyrs' families. In addition, the unit is also deeply honored and proud to provide lifelong care for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

As part of the series of commemorative activities, on the morning of July 23, the airport's Board of Directors and Trade Union organized a warm and intimate meeting, personally visiting and presenting gifts of gratitude to officials and employees who are relatives of martyrs, as well as to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. This is a great source of spiritual encouragement, reflecting the deep responsibility and affection of all officials, party members, and employees of the airport toward those who have rendered service to the revolution.

As part of the program, the delegation from Noi Bai International Airport also organized a pilgrimage journey to the roots at the K9 Da Chong Historical Relic Site (Ba Vi, Hanoi). Beneath the sacred, tranquil canopy of the primeval forest, the delegation reverently offered incense and observed a moment of silence in memory of the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the generations of forebears who heroically sacrificed themselves for the nation's independence and freedom.

The trip was not only an occasion to revisit the nation's glorious historical pages but also an important contribution to educating the tradition of "drinking water, remembering its source," nurturing patriotism and civic responsibility among the younger generation of Noi Bai International Airport staff. With deep gratitude, the workforce of Noi Bai International Airport pledges to remain united and continuously strive to improve service quality, ensure absolute security and safety for every flight, and contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam's aviation industry, so as to always remain worthy of the noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.
