With the theme “Green Christmas,” Noi Bai International Airport emphasizes spreading the message of environmental protection while bringing a warm, friendly, and safe Christmas atmosphere to passengers traveling through the airport.
In its continuous efforts to enhance the service quality for passengers, Noi Bai International Airport aims to create a memorable impression as a warm and welcoming gateway. During holidays and special occasions, the airport frequently organizes cultural activities to welcome passengers, reflecting the unique essence of Vietnam. Each year, these programs are infused with new, distinctive elements, delighting passengers with unexpected surprises. This Christmas, Noi Bai International Airport presents a variety of activities under the theme of protecting our planet, promoting environmental preservation, and fostering sustainable development.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Director of the Airport and Chairwoman of the Passenger Service Quality Action Committee, shared: “With our Green Christmas journey, every step taken by passengers passing through Noi Bai International Airport will resonate with a collective effort toward a better world. This year’s Christmas decorations stand out with their unique design, incorporating recycled materials and interactive spaces. Noi Bai Airport hopes to inspire passengers to take action for the environment.”
At both the East and West ends of Terminal 2, large Christmas trees made entirely of recycled materials will stand as symbols of the airport’s commitment to protecting the planet. The unveiling of these eco-friendly trees will take place in the coming days.
In the departure lounges of Terminals T1 and T2, passengers will have the opportunity to participate in workshops led by skilled artisans, learning to create handmade gifts from recycled materials. These small but meaningful gifts will accompany passengers to various destinations, carrying a heartfelt reminder to be more responsible for our environment—for ourselves, our community, and future generations.
The Christmas atmosphere at Noi Bai will also come alive with over 1,000 adorable stuffed toys gifted to young passengers traveling through the airport. The gift-giving festivities, hosted by Santa Claus and Snow Princess characters portrayed by airport staff, will take place on December 23 and 24.
On December 24, 2024, an exciting Christmas-themed art program will light up the East and West ends of Terminal 2’s departure lounge. Passengers can enjoy cheerful musical performances and vibrant dances by talented artists, creating unforgettable moments before their flights.
Passengers can also capture their festive memories with instant photo printing at designated photo booths in the departure lounge areas of T1 (Wing B) and T2 (West End, Gates 33-34). For music lovers, a piano will be available at the designated photo booths in the departure lounge areas of T1 (Wing B) and T2 (West End, Gates 33-34).
