On October 26, 2025, at Noi Bai International Airport, Xiamen Airlines officially inaugurated a new route connecting Hanoi (HAN) – Fuzhou (FOC) – Qingdao (TAO). The event marks another milestone in the expansion of the airline’s international network, contributing to the strengthening of trade, tourism, and economic cooperation between Vietnam and China.

The flight, numbered MF8698, is operated using the modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft, renowned for its high safety standards, fuel efficiency, and passenger comfort. According to the schedule, the flight departs from Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) at 16:20 (Vietnam time), arrives in Fuzhou (FOC) at 19:45 (local time), makes a two-hour stop before continuing to Qingdao (TAO), and is scheduled to land at 23:55 (local time). The route operates four times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

To celebrate the event, Noi Bai International Airport held the traditional “water salute” ceremony, a customary aviation practice to mark the inauguration of a new route.

The opening of the Hanoi – Fuzhou – Qingdao route is part of Xiamen Airlines’ strategy to expand its international network, catering to the growing travel demand between Vietnam and key cities in China. At the ceremony, Xiamen Airlines expressed its commitment to continuing close cooperation with Noi Bai International Airport to provide passengers with safe, convenient, and high-quality flight experiences.

On this occasion, Xiamen Airlines is offering a range of special promotional programs, including attractive fares and complimentary services for passengers. Tickets can be purchased through the airline’s official website, mobile app, or authorized agents.

This new route further extends Noi Bai International Airport’s connectivity map to Northeast Asia, offering passengers more travel options while fostering friendly cooperation between Vietnam and China in aviation, trade, and tourism.
