On the afternoon of September 15, at the Conference Hall of the Noi Bai Commune Party Committee, Noi Bai International Airport organized an aviation safety awareness program for 200 local students. Although it was the first time this specialized knowledge had been brought to junior high school-aged students, the program received enthusiastic and highly excited participation from the children.
The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Nam Ha, Secretary of the Noi Bai Commune Party Committee and Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Noi Bai Commune. On the side of Noi Bai International Airport, attendees included Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of the Airport; Ms. Trinh Thi Lien Huong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union; a representative from the Safety and Quality Control Department; the Secretary of the Airport's Youth Union; along with the special participation of 200 students from Quang Tien and Hien Ninh Junior High Schools.

Turning dry knowledge into a lively playground
Previously, the airport's aviation safety (AS) awareness efforts had typically focused on households and residents living in communes near the airport. Bringing this specialized knowledge to students for the first time, the organizers were genuinely surprised by the children's enthusiasm and eager participation.

At the event, communicators from Noi Bai International Airport skillfully wove specialized concepts such as "airport airspace obstacle limitation," no-fly zone regulations, and restricted flight zone regulations into vivid, hands-on lessons. The students were given clear, easy-to-understand explanations of why activities that might seem harmless — such as flying drones/UAVs, flying kites, releasing balloons, releasing sky lanterns, using laser pointers, or burning straw near airport areas — must be strictly prohibited or restricted.
Through interactive activities and mini-game-style Q&A sessions, the atmosphere in the hall truly came alive. Rows of hands shot up continuously as students competed to answer and win prizes. Many smart, accurate answers from the children earned thunderous applause from the whole hall, showing that the message of aviation safety had genuinely taken root in their awareness in the most natural way.
Hopes pinned on the "junior communicators"
Speaking at the event, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of Noi Bai International Airport, emphasized the importance of coordinating with local authorities and residents:

"Noi Bai Commune is an area directly bordering the airport, so raising awareness of aviation safety is a very important task. Even a small lapse of control in daily activities can directly threaten flight safety. Through today's program, Noi Bai International Airport hopes that all the students sitting here will become junior communicators, ambassadors for flight safety, spreading knowledge to protect peaceful flights to their families and communities."
Also as part of the program, in order to encourage a spirit of diligent study, Noi Bai International Airport presented 46 gifts to disadvantaged students who have overcome hardship and achieved excellent academic results at Quang Tien and Hien Ninh Junior High Schools.
Mr. Pham Tuan Anh added that, although the gifts were modest, they carried the full sentiment, care, and practical encouragement of the entire staff of Noi Bai International Airport for the local younger generation.
The success of this event opens up a promising new direction in Noi Bai International Airport's communication efforts: building a sustainable culture of aviation safety, starting with the youngest generation.
