Noi Bai International Airport has just received a letter from a passenger addressed to the airport, expressing gratitude towards Ms. Bui Thi Huyen - a baggage cart attendant at Noi Bai Airport Operations Center, for helping to find and return a wallet containing up to 500 million dong.

According to the content of the letter, the story goes as follows: On June 13, 2024, Ms. N.M.H and her father, Mr. N.V.H, traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to visit a seriously ill relative. Upon landing, in their haste, her father accidentally dropped a wallet containing 500 million dong and personal documents. "We were very panicked and didn't know how to handle the situation; it was a large amount of money that my family had saved for a long time. Luckily, when facing difficulties, my father and I went back to look for the wallet and met Ms. Bui Thi Huyen - the baggage cart attendant," Ms. H recounted in the letter. Ms. H stated that she and her father were overjoyed when Ms. Huyen said she had found the wallet. After verifying the information and ensuring that the guests correctly identified the details of the documents, including the ID card in the wallet, Ms. Huyen returned the wallet to them.

Ms. Bui Thi Huyen happily recounted: "Around 1 a.m., I was collecting baggage carts at the area near Terminal 1 car park when I saw a brown wallet left on a cart. Before being able to report to the security team, I noticed Ms. N.M.H and her father frantically looking for something. After checking and confirming that the passengers correctly matched the details of the documents and the ID card in the wallet, I immediately returned it to them."

Ms. N.M.H mentioned that her father was deeply moved and intended to thank Ms. Huyen, but she gently declined: "Having all our belongings back makes us already very happy. What could be more valuable than finding something you've lost, sir?" Ms. Huyen replied with a smile.

"Ms. Huyen is one of the most honest and kind-hearted individuals I have ever met. Therefore, I am writing this letter to thank Noi Bai International Airport - NIA, the Management Board, and Ms. Bui Thi Huyen - an honest, enthusiastic staff member, for helping us retrieve the lost items," Ms. N.M.H wrote gratefully.
