In celebration of the 115th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8) and the 1985th anniversary of the Trung Sisters’ Uprising, Noi Bai International Airport has organized a series of meaningful activities to honor the role and contributions of its staff and employees.

Tribute Journey to the Hung Kings’ Temple – Continuing Traditions, Strengthening Spirit

On March 5, 2025, the Trade Union of Noi Bai International Airport organized a tribute ceremony at the Hung Kings’ Temple – a sacred land considered the origin of the Vietnamese people. The trip was attended by the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, the Women’s Affairs Subcommittee, female trade union officials from organizational units, and outstanding female trade union members of 2024.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ancestral land, the delegation respectfully offered incense, expressing profound gratitude for the merits of the Hung Kings in founding and defending the nation. This was not only a traditional ritual but also an opportunity to reflect on the journey of Vietnamese women's development, fostering a sense of pride, solidarity, and responsibility in both work and life. The trip also served as a chance for female union members to connect, share experiences, and gain inspiration to continue growing and contributing to the organization.

While the tribute journey brought moments of deep reflection, the atmosphere at Noi Bai International Airport on March 8 was filled with excitement through the program "Have You Had Ice Cream, Beautiful?" – a delightful and unexpected gift for the ladies.

On March 6-7, despite Hanoi’s chilly weather, the warmth of smiles, heartfelt wishes, and thoughtful gestures from male colleagues filled the air. As they enjoyed refreshing ice cream treats and received the genuine care of their "brotherly colleagues," the women could not hide their joy and emotion at these sincere acts of appreciation.

From the solemn moments at the Hung Kings’ Temple to the cheerful laughter of the "Have You Had Ice Cream, Beautiful?" program, the activities celebrating March 8 at Noi Bai International Airport have truly left many beautiful impressions.
