Starting from December 20, 2024, Noi Bai International Airport has fully implemented non-cash payment lanes and automatic toll collection services for car drop-off/pick-up at both passenger terminals T1 and T2. To ensure smooth and convenient travel, passengers using these services should note the following:

Currently, the non-cash and automatic toll collection system is fully operational across the airport. At Terminal T1, there are 9 entry lanes and 10 exit lanes, with stable operations of non-stop toll collection since early December 2024. At Terminal T2, there are 7 entry lanes and 11 exit lanes.
Accepted payment methods at the toll collection lanes include card swiping via POS machines, QR code payment, and cash payment as an additional option. The implementation of this service aims to reduce traffic congestion at vehicle entry/exit lanes and provide greater convenience and efficiency for passengers.
To effectively utilize the ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) service, all passengers traveling through Noi Bai International Airport and using car drop-off/pick-up services are advised to take note of the following:

1. Check your traffic account balance
Ensure that your road traffic toll account (EPASS/VETC) has sufficient balance to pay for the service.
2. Inspect the condition of your ETC tag
Check that the ETC tag attached to your vehicle is intact, not peeling, swollen, or deformed. Ensure the tag is securely affixed. If the tag is damaged, replace it immediately to avoid transaction disruptions.
3. Keep your license plate clean and visible
Ensure your vehicle's license plate is clean, undamaged, and clearly legible. This helps the system accurately recognize your vehicle.
4. Maintain a proper distance and speed when entering toll lanes
When entering toll lanes, reduce your speed and maintain a distance of approximately 2 meters from the vehicle in front. This allows the system to correctly identify your vehicle without confusing it with the one ahead.
5. Observe and enter only open lanes
Only enter lanes that are open and in operation. Avoid entering closed lanes (those blocked by traffic cones in front of the gantry or barriers behind the gantry), as reversing out will be required.
6. Handling situations where the barrier does not open
If you enter an active lane and the barrier does not open despite having sufficient balance in your traffic account, do not reverse into another lane. The system has already registered your vehicle and is processing your transaction. Reversing will take more time as the toll operator must cancel the previous transaction and create a new one. Please wait patiently for staff assistance.
Noi Bai International Airport has arranged on-duty personnel at all exit lanes and 24/7 technical support to handle any issues that may arise for passengers using car drop-off/pick-up services.
As the year-end approaches, everyone looks forward to reuniting with family and enjoying warm moments together. Please remember these tips to make your journey through Noi Bai International Airport smooth and seamless.
Noi Bai International Airport wishes you and your family a prosperous, safe, and joyful new year filled with love and happiness. Safe travels on every journey!
