Over June 17–18, 2026, the Noi Bai International Airport Trade Union held its First-Half 2026 Activity Review Conference, combined with a series of appreciation events and lively sports exchanges. The programme was not only an opportunity to reflect on the encouraging achievements marking the "Reaching International Standards" milestone, but also a heartfelt moment of gratitude woven through with many emotions. Every contribution — whether the steady perseverance of a long career or the youthful passion of those bidding farewell — was deeply honoured. In the end, everyone found a sense of pride, connection, and shared affection for the journey travelled together. These wonderful emotions will become valuable companions for the journeys ahead.
A Panoramic View of the First Half of 2026, Marked by Many Highlights
The first half of 2026 marked outstanding efforts across the entire Noi Bai International Airport, as the Airport climbed to 71st place in Skytrax's World's Top 100 Airports ranking. Behind this leap forward lies steady operational performance, unwavering efforts to ensure absolute safety, and continuous improvement in service quality and passenger satisfaction. Standing alongside these core efforts, the Trade Union has continued to affirm its role as a solid pillar of support, comprehensively caring for the wellbeing of employees. From the "Trade Union Year-End Meals" and shift meals during Tet, to support for staff working in extreme weather conditions and isolated independent posts, to care for employees facing serious illness or hardship — the Trade Union has fully honoured its commitment that "no one is left behind." Alongside these welfare efforts, a vibrant series of movement activities also took place, fostering an exciting spirit of friendly competition. Notably, the Airport's Sports Delegation delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 ACV Sports Games, becoming a true highlight that sparked pride and strengthened solidarity among the workforce.
Carrying forward that fiery sporting spirit, this review event also brought a fresh burst of energy through a friendly Pickleball tournament. It was truly a wonderful day of connection: skilful rallies, seamless teamwork, and countless bursts of laughter on the court came together to create a vibrant atmosphere, dispelling the daily pressures of operational life.
Honouring Quiet Dedication
On this occasion, the Trade Union held a solemn gathering to honour trade union officials of the 2023–2028 term. Notably, the event devoted meaningful time to celebrating the contributions of trade union officials within Aviation Security, and the Noi Bai Aviation Security force as a whole. Across 37 years accompanying the Airport's development, the resilience and quiet dedication of aviation security personnel have been a key factor in ensuring absolute security and safety across all of the Airport's operations.
The event was honoured to welcome Comrade Pham Hoai Phuong — Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction, and Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union; Comrade Le Kha Truong — Member of the Party Committee's Standing Board and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV); along with numerous trade union officials and women's affairs representatives from units under the Airport, and notably, trade union officials from the Noi Bai Aviation Security Center.
Speaking at the event, Comrade Le Kha Truong, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, extended heartfelt gratitude and acknowledged the tremendous contributions of the entire Noi Bai International Airport trade union workforce. He particularly highlighted and commended the long-standing dedication of trade union officials from the Noi Bai Aviation Security Center.
The series of events concluded with an emotionally rich Gala Night — a fitting close to a journey marked by dedication and companionship among trade union officials. It was not merely a gathering, but a quiet moment to reflect together on the silent efforts and shared values built along the way.
Amid a joyful atmosphere interwoven with moments of deep emotion, firm handshakes, warm embraces, and keepsake gifts spoke louder than a thousand words of thanks. Every smile and every lively conversation became part of the most treasured memories. And as each person continues on new paths ahead, the spirit of unity, effort, and innovation will remain the driving force for all employees and union members to continue building Noi Bai International Airport into a destination that is "Green – Clean – Beautiful, Absolutely Safe, and World-Class."
