Marking another important milestone in the expansion of its international flight network, Noi Bai International Airport warmly welcomes and congratulates IndiGo Airlines on the official launch of its new direct route connecting Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, with Mumbai, India.

A ceremony celebrating flight 6E1638 bound for Mumbai was held in a formal yet festive atmosphere at the terminal's check-in area. Representatives of various organizations operating at the Airport joined IndiGo Airlines representatives for a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony and commemorative photographs, marking a promising start for the new route.

IndiGo began operations from Hanoi in 2019 with a direct service to Kolkata and has since steadily expanded its network to meet growing passenger demand. Starting with one flight per day, the airline gradually developed two key international routes, Hanoi–Kolkata and Hanoi–Delhi, and has now added a third route to Mumbai, India's bustling financial hub.

This impressive development not only strengthens connectivity between Vietnam and India but also provides convenient onward connections to more than 90 domestic and international destinations across IndiGo's network.

The launch of the Hanoi–Mumbai direct service offers passengers more convenient travel options and helps reduce travel time. It also plays an important role in promoting tourism, facilitating trade and economic exchanges, and further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
