On the morning of July 28, 2026, Noi Bai International Airport, in coordination with the Noi Bai Border Guard Police, organized a conference to implement the plan for arranging passenger and vehicle traffic flow at the T1 and T2 terminal parking areas, aiming to optimize space and improve service quality.

The event was attended by representatives from agencies, units, businesses, airlines, and franchise units operating at the airport.

At the conference, Mr. Dinh Dang Dinh, Director of the Noi Bai Airport Operations Center, representing Noi Bai International Airport, spent a significant portion of the program presenting in detail the draft plan for rearranging traffic routes, parking positions, and user groups. The central goal of the draft is to give maximum priority to vehicles serving passengers so they can reach the terminal as quickly as possible.

According to the direction outlined, the upcoming plan will bring the following breakthrough changes:

  • Optimizing traffic flow: Reorganizing the routes of vehicles approaching the two passenger terminals, T1 and T2, to be more open and convenient.
  • Planning dedicated internal parking areas: Official duty vehicles, vehicles of agencies and units, as well as personal vehicles of staff working at the airport, will be arranged in designated locations, separate from passenger vehicle flow.
  • Ensuring order in the terminal lobby area: Strict regulations will be applied so that internal and official duty vehicles are absolutely prohibited from stopping or parking in the lanes reserved for passengers right in front of the terminal entrances.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Huu Khanh, Head of the Noi Bai Border Guard Police, expressed strong determination to ensure that the Border Guard Police force strictly implements the plan. He also called for the resolute participation of all agencies and units operating at the airport, with the guiding principle of creating maximum convenience for passengers. This activity aims to promptly realize Decision No. 1066/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister: Approving the Project on Enhancing Airport Capacity to Ensure Security, Intelligence, and Friendliness in the New Situation.

After gathering feedback, reviewing, and reaching close consensus among Noi Bai International Airport, the Border Guard Police, and related units, the new traffic flow arrangement plan will be issued and officially applied starting from July 30, 2026.

These innovations are expected to effectively resolve localized congestion, create a civilized, orderly, and safe traffic environment, thereby continuously elevating the experience of passengers visiting Noi Bai International Airport.
