At the award ceremony on the morning of November 12, 2024, Nội Bài International Airport officially concluded the online competition “Understanding Fire Prevention and Fighting Laws” and presented 16 individual prizes and 2 collective prizes to the top achievers of the competition.

The 2024 online competition “Understanding Fire Prevention and Fighting Laws,” organized by Noi Bai International Airport, successfully concluded with outstanding results. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from 4,782 employees representing 37 internal and external units of the airport.

The competition was held online from October 4 to October 18, 2024, with over 7,000 entries submitted, including 243 entries achieving a perfect score (30/30 correct answers).

On behalf of the organizing unit, Mr. Lai The Son, Deputy Head of Safety and Quality Control Department, expressed his gratitude to all participating units. “Compared to last year’s competition, this year saw a significant increase in participation, with the number of participants tripling. This reflects the strong support from unit leaders and the enthusiastic response from employees,” Mr. Son shared.

Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of Nội Bài International Airport and Head of the Competition Organizing Committee, emphasized: “As a critical infrastructure facility linked to national security, equipping and strengthening legal knowledge on fire prevention and fighting (FPF) for all employees is an ongoing responsibility. This competition served as an important opportunity to promote fire prevention and fighting laws among workers, raising awareness, responsibility, and preparedness to respond effectively to fire and explosion incidents.”

Representing the individual winners, Mr. Le Tuan Anh, from the Noi Bai Aviation Cargo Services Joint Stock Company (ACSV), and winner of the first prize, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the competition. He said: “This competition was an excellent opportunity for me and my colleagues to update essential knowledge, not only for ourselves but also for our families, workplaces, and the community, ensuring we are prepared to act when needed.”

Speaking on behalf of the collective award winners, Mr. Vu Cong Thang, Deputy Director of Nội Bài Airfield Operations Center, whose unit had the highest participation rate, highlighted that the center viewed the competition as an opportunity to reinforce specialized FPF knowledge and apply it practically to ensure absolute safety for fire prevention and aviation operations at the airfield. Mr. Phi Ngoc Ha, Director of VIAGS Nội Bài Airport Operations Center, which shared the collective first prize, stated that following the competition, his unit would continue to promote fire prevention awareness and compliance among all staff, while enhancing coordination with other airport units to ensure fire safety across Nội Bài International Airport.

The 2024 online competition “Understanding Fire Prevention and Fighting Laws,” hosted by Noi Bai International Airport, has officially concluded, spreading the message of each employee’s responsibility to proactively update their legal knowledge. It also created an opportunity for staff from various units to connect, share experiences, and collectively build a safer working environment.
