A male passenger accidentally left behind his handheld wallet containing 127,000 Japanese Yen (equivalent to over 21 million Vietnamese Dong) and other personal documents at Terminal 1 Passenger Hall. Fortunately, a baggage cart staff member promptly discovered and retained it.

Around 23:00 on May 3rd, at the public area of Hall A, 1st floor, Terminal 1 Passenger Hall of Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Mr. Le Van Long, a member of the Baggage Cart Team at the Noi Bai Terminal Operations Center, discovered a black handheld wallet on the cart tray. Recognizing that it belonged to a forgetful passenger, Mr. Long quickly notified the Noi Bai Airport security staff.

The Nội Bài Airport Mobile Security Force promptly conducted visual inspection, explosive detection, and security screening on the wallet and prepared a handover report to the Mobile Security Team. During the inspection, the security force found that the wallet contained 12 banknotes of 10,000 Japanese Yen and 7 banknotes of 1,000 Japanese Yen (equivalent to a total value of over 21 million Vietnamese Dong), along with other important personal documents belonging to Mr. T.Q.V.

Fortunately, about 20 minutes later, Mr. T.Q.V received guidance from the staff and arrived at the Duty Room of the Mobile Security Team at the Nội Bài Airport Mobile Security Center. Mr. V. was very happy and grateful to have his bag returned, with a considerable amount of money he had saved during his work in Japan.
