On March 30, 2025, Xiamen Airlines officially inaugurated a new international flight route connecting Hanoi (Vietnam) and Fuzhou (China). The opening of this route marks an important milestone in strengthening aviation cooperation between the two countries, while simultaneously creating favorable opportunities to enhance tourism, trade, and cultural exchanges between the two cities.
The new Hanoi – Fuzhou route will operate four flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, utilizing Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes each way.
Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, is not only a city with rich historical and cultural heritage but also an important economic center of China. This route will make it easier for Vietnamese travelers to visit Fuzhou and other cities in Fujian Province and facilitate Chinese businesses in enhancing trade with Vietnam.
