In the hustle and bustle of airport operations, every person and every job contributes to a larger system. And sometimes, the most beautiful stories come from the quietest people.

Our story today is about Ms. Le Thi Thin, a female cleaning staff of Hoan My Company Limited. During her shift, while cleaning the toilet of the domestic isolation area at Noi Bai T1 Passenger Terminal, Ms. Thin discovered a dark brown CAESA handbag left behind. With her acumen and sense of responsibility, she did not open it to see but immediately reported it to the nearest Aviation Security force. When the bag was checked under the supervision of all parties, what was inside was actually a fortune: a laptop, Samsung phone, leather wallet, personal documents in the name of passenger D.V.D, and especially a huge amount of cash including 64,900,000 VND and 10,000 USD (total value equivalent to more than 329 million VND). Just 30 minutes later, at the duty room of the Domestic Terminal Security Team - Noi Bai Aviation Security Center, passenger D.V.D burst into joy when he received his bag back.
Still not over his surprise and joy, Mr. D.V.D shared: “I was a passenger on the flight from Da Lat to Noi Bai, and because I was in a hurry, I forgot my important bag. Luckily, I was enthusiastically supported by the security team. I sincerely thank the security force and Ms. Thin”.
The moment when the Noi Bai Aviation Security force and Ms. Thin returned the intact property to Mr. D.V.D ended the story in a complete and warm way. The story about her was later shared and spread by us, but perhaps she was the last person to know. When the writer of this article tried to contact her to say thank you, she was still busy with her serious shift. She did not answer the phone, because for her, work must come first. And perhaps, that action was as normal as the other silent jobs she still does every day.
That simple kindness, without needing to be honored, is the most precious thing, contributing to creating a safe and civilized image of Noi Bai.
Sincerely thank and commend her!
