On the morning of September 4, 2026, at the Terminal T2 passenger area of Noi Bai International Airport, Akasa Air (India) officially launched its direct route connecting Hanoi and Mumbai. The event marks Hanoi as the first destination in Vietnam and the 7th international destination in Akasa Air's entire flight network. At the launch ceremony for the new route, representatives of Noi Bai International Airport's leadership attended, presenting flowers and extending warm congratulations to the airline.

The program was held solemnly, featuring a welcome cake-cutting ceremony, the presentation of souvenir gifts, and the awarding of a mini aircraft model to the first passenger on the inaugural flight.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Harjinder, representing Akasa Air, shared: "Vietnam is a market we are extremely excited about.
