On the afternoon of February 16, a female passenger who had forgotten her bag containing 215,000 Japanese Yen (equivalent to nearly 40 million VND), along with other important personal documents, at Terminal 2 of Noi Bai International Airport was fortunate to have it promptly discovered and secured by a baggage cart staff member.

At approximately 14:55 on February 16, at pillar number 13, ground floor, Terminal 2 – Noi Bai International Airport, Ms. Ho Thi Thanh, a baggage cart employee from the Noi Bai Passenger Terminal Operation Center, found a black bag left on a baggage cart. Identifying it as a lost item, Ms. Thanh immediately informed Noi Bai Aviation Security personnel for inspection and handover to the appropriate department.

The Noi Bai Mobile Security Force promptly conducted a visual inspection, an explosive detection test, and a security screening of the bag before officially recording and handing it over to the Mobile Security Team. During the inspection, security personnel found inside the wallet 215,000 Japanese Yen, 11 US dollars, 310,000 VND (with a total estimated value of nearly 40 million VND), along with some jewelry, a passport, and bank cards bearing the name H.T.H.

Fortunately, at around 17:30 on the same day, with the guidance of airport staff, Ms. H.T.H arrived at the Mobile Security Team’s duty office at Noi Bai Aviation Security Center. She was overjoyed and deeply grateful to recover her bag with its valuable contents intact.
